House of Hope Animal Rescue, Inc. (HOH) is an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue organization. We have been based inElkton, MD, since January 2011.
Our primary focus is saving black dogs from shelters in the South where they have one of the highest euthanasia rates in the country. A high number of strays end up in these shelters daily. With insufficient space to house them, a shortage of food, and the fact that most owners never reclaim them, these dogs are euthanized regularly.
This will be our 6th Annual Paws In the Park Event. I bid out biggest fundraising event all year and enables us to save over 300+ dogs per year. All funds raised in the 6th Annual Paws Fundraiser contribute to the lifesaving Heartworm treatment, spay/neuter surgery, all vaccines, and a microchip for each dog we rescue.
